AC DASH TEMPERATURE WHAT SHOULD IT BE ?

97°F outside temperature duct dash temperature 43°F

Prius have very good air-conditioning even on 100°F day you should still get about 43 to 45°F out your dash.

if not something is wrong or most likely the person who service the air conditioning did not do it 100% correctly.

The refrigerant charge is either overcharged by one or 2 ounces or more

where the refrigerant charge is under charge by one or 2 ounces or more

maybe they use the can of AC Pro that contains lubricant that does not conduct heat and it has a overcharge of oil or lubricant with special additives in it that do not make it colder when there’s too much

Or somebody replace the Compressor and there was too much lubricant in the system so it will not come out cold enough

or the condenser was replaced with a cheap aftermarket condenser that gives you fewer cooling fins and fewer refrigerant to passages but the condenser was cheap so it was the better buy but now you pay the price for pour cooling performance on hot days.
