Hello all, my AC doesn't seem very cold.

I have put the AC on and can see the gas flowing but warm air is coming out of the vent?

Any advice would be most welcome .

    Regards Karl

If you can see the refrigerant flowing in the sight glass, it is likely that the system needs a bit more R-134a to be added. There is very little difference in refrigerant level, between the system blowing ice cold and inadequate performance as you are currently experiencing.

You can; make sure it doesn’t contain any oil or leak sealer. Get a hose with a pressure gauge and do not overfill. Depending upon ambient air temp, you may need the low side pressure to only be around 30 psi.

    Rule out leaks first!
Otherwise you will be in the same position again, and maybe soon, depending on the severity of the leak, if there is a leak.
