    probably needs a recharge. you might have an o ring leak or something.

    Have the system checked for leaks by a qualified A/C technician. The Prius really needs to be serviced by someone who knows how to work on it. I know you don't have a dealer there, but you really need to find someone who knows how to service the Prius A/C system. It is not your normal A/C like most other cars.
