I am just learning the displays. I accidentally deleted both A and B with one touch and I only wanted B. Any thoughts On what I could have done wrong? Thanks.

Holding the button down for several seconds zeroes the tripmeter being displayed. Is it possible you held the button down when you were on "A", gave it a momentary click which switched to "B", and then held it down again while on "B"? That's all I can think of.

    i've done that.

unless they've changed it, you can only display the data showing on the screen.

If you're tracking mpg it's a good idea to use the odometer readings, and maybe the trip meters also, but just for insurance. While the trip meters can be accidently reset, or neglected to be reset if someone else does the fillup, the odometer reading is impervious.

Not sure about the 2016 but my 2010 kept track of last 5 trips I think. It keeps the miles and approximate mpg. No avg mph though.

Thanks JohnF. That is what I must have done. I was more careful today so no problems.

Right. I had trouble with accidental resets at first, before I learned to be quick on the button to avoid them. It doesn't take long!
