Has anyone ever had to adjust the operation of the mechanical door lock on their GenII Prius? I couldn't find it discussed in other threads. I had a dead 12v battery and couldn't open the driver's door with the mechanical key. It would turn to almost 90 degrees in both directions the door wouldn't unlock. I called AAA to gain access and replaced the battery but still can't open the door with the mechanical key. I noticed there is an access hole on the edge of the door near the lock cylinder and there seems to be both a bolt and a lever inside (attached picture). I assume they do something regarding the lock but am not sure what.

The bolt hold the key cylinder. No adjustment there.
Unbolt it and pull it out...The extension from the cylinder might of dislodge from the door lock.
