    What's with the ads, seemingly for everything from soup to nuts, that appear in many posts, sometimes obscuring the text in the post?

    You mean a dropdown ad from the top ad or ads inbetween posts in a thread.

    If you are seeing ads inbetween posts in a thread from time to time you probably are not logged in while seeing the,, I think guests get that.

    No, the ads actually appear within the posts themselves and sometimes obscure portions of the text in the post. However, following up on your suggestion, I logged in and discovered that the ads do not show up while I am logged in. Double-checking, I logged out and the annoying ads once again appear. From now on, I'll be sure to log in when visiting PriusChat.

    Thanks for the clue.

    No problem, glad I could help. I actually got logged out one day and didn't know it and was like "what the hell with all these ads?!" Then I realized I wasn't logged in so that's the only reason I guessed that was the problem right away lol.
