I return back after a long time of absence...

I wish to inform you all, that this year my nice Prius (nicknamed Battleship Galactica!) completed 6 years and 60.000 kilometers (**) of good service.
This year also, I replaced the small battery and the front brake pads.
I have nothing to complain and report no troubles, nor damages.

(**) I am retired the last 5 years and for this reason the average mileage is quite low.

Who screwed you on a brake pad sale? They sell you rotors too? Stock pads are good for around 200k miles. What's that in Km?

That depends on driving style and conditions. Not everyone or everyplace or every usage can achieve that.

Yeah, maybe in Florida where it's flat as a pancake but that's a blanket statement that I wouldn't hang my hat on.

Did my fronts around 90k, rears around 100k. Both front wheel bearings around 100k as well as they were getting pretty noisy (the road salt gets into them).

Only maintenance other than oil change mine has needed in 5.5 years and 112k miles of northern New England driving.
