I haven't found any in my searching, and I assume if anyone on here had used one they'd have posted, but I'll ask anyway: has anyone used this type of add-on to get CarPlay / Android Auto on the factory head unit? Insert link here - new user so can't include - but it's an adapter from CarABC.cn that installs behind the head unit. Available from Amazon as well for $200, and lists compatible models of 2014-2019 Toyotas. I'm considering buying one for a 2016 V 5. My major hesitation is that I expect to lose access to the configuration screens - it would be nice to have a switch to flip between this and EnTune - but I've never touched those settings since initial setup so it doesn't seem like a huge risk. It also sounds like the resolution on the display might lead to a disappointing result but it's gotta be better than what it's like using a Pixel for navigation since Google stripped out native Android Auto in favor of some flaky Maps add-ons.
