Aftermarket navigation supporting parking assistant.

    Hey, i am just wondering if anyone here knows about any aftermarket navigations that supports the OEM rear camera and parking assistant? I am thinking about buying a new one so i can maybe have carplay in the car and add my front camera (that is currently on another display in the car) to the navigation unit without loosing the OEM parking assistant?

    Just to throw this out there. You can get a retention cable for your OEM back up camera and you can find it on Amazon website.

    Ahh really? interesting.. But do those retention cables got the GVIF port? Since that is the connector to the parking assist unit. And i believe my "activation" cable is number 6 on this pic which i believe is called "L42". [​IMG]

    Unfortunately, it does not. For some reason I thought parking assist being the parking guide lines. I completely forgot about the IPA which '12 & up models don't have.

    ahh... well in Norway the 12-15 also got it lol, but the connectors r different from the 10-11 which is stupid...

    I wish Toyota kept continued the IPA for 2012-15 T5 models. Must not have been a popular feature.
