Are any of the original PHEV conversion companies/groups from the gen2 and gen3 days still around?

Even if they were in business, the minimum price (due to inflation) would be $10,000, which basically doubles the cost of a 2004 - 2005 prius. I don't think I would live long enough (in my mid-60s) to recoup that cost. Why wouldn't I just buy a used $20,000 phev or EV? It is likely to have over 100,000 less miles.
