Aftermarket radio install question

    I installed a pioneer avhx3600bhs into a 2005 prius and I am having a strange issue.

    1. System status updates are coming through the speakers when they choose. ( ex. 45mpg...etc).

    I have jbl factory amp. Used a bypass to retain speakers and amp
