This is has been on my do list for while, I did not know what do expect here is my mini-summary.

I used an ebay mini VCI and a 2021 version of techstream ( one with a loader that by-passes the requirement for a license)

Prius AirBleed over view, total time 1h30

Start of techstream / select the ABS/VSC/TRAC , the under utility AirBleed..

the entire process has multiple reminder for re-adding fluid to the Max line

The High Pressure tube ... step is all automated.

The braking system makes a bunch of noices.

    An other automated step.

Finally the person in the driver's seat start interacting with the brake pedal, this goes on for a few cycles.

Next step start with reminder to check fluid ? why nothing has been opened yet.

Now the real work starts, pedal operator pumps the pedal a few time, we did 3-4

    - Line one, Each wheel goes throught at least 1 cycle of pump brakes 3 times, hold pedal depressed Open bleeder let open till liquid stops flowing, and it clear of bubbles. repeat as many cycles as required.
This goes on for RR, RL, FR, FL. ( we did 3 cycles on each caliper)

Then with foot still on pedal I open the bleeder screws.

8 mm wrench on the front

the cycle gets repeated for each wheel :

After line 1 is done you start all over for the Line 2 !, but between those steps the car does a Actuator bleeding :

    - Line 2 bleeding start,

Identical to line 1 all over again !, here is the RL slide,

When the Line 2 section is finished running around opening bleeder screws is finished the rest is all internal :

Noisy stuff and alarms start going off in the car.

Pump cycling and valve adjustment, 6 cycles pump is noisy all sorts of alarm and light go off on the dash.

It spends allot of time, doing 6 cycles of this step.

Total fluid used about 500 ml, and you to be two , or use a rod to keep the pedal depressed when it calls for the bleeder to be opened.
