Air Conditioning Randomly Turns on?

    So every now and again the car asks me when I turn it off, if I want to run the air conditioning to cool the cabin. I assume this is to keep the batteries safe while I'm plugged in.

    I've done it once. And I usually make it a habit to unplug the car (in the garage) when it's done.

    However, one day I noticed that the car's AC unit was totally on and NOT plugged in! I was like "Wth"...Is it not smart enough to know it's not plugged in?

    The message clearly says: Run AC while plugged in".

    Anyone else encounter this odd behavior? And when does this message go in? Is it about outside temps?

    That's it! But the Prime is actually turning on the AC when it's not plugged in :eek:

    My guess is that you pushed the remote AC button on the key fob. It can happen while it's in your pocket.

    I see that message every time I turn off my car at home, is there any way to make the choice sticky, so it doesn't ask again?

    Loving my Prime, but it's only the third week, so I haven't found everything yet. (nor have I filled up with gas yet, which is extremely cool, even though my commute is further than most people here.)

    Unfortunately, there is no way to make it sticky. The only option you can set is to use the traction battery warmer in the winter. Yeah, for me filling up every 3-4 weeks, compared to every week with my 2012 v, is awesome! Loving mine also! (y):D
