air infiltration -But Baby It's Cold Inside

    Sorry to bump an ancient thread, but did you ever get the above resolved? This is obviously not the best time of year to check this...

    The thread starter was having problems w/the heater not working well at http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...roubleshooting/89063-help-nearly-no-heat.html. Solution was at http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-.../89063-help-nearly-no-heat-3.html#post1252907. He had further followup posts to confirm that the fix worked.

    It's getting cold outside and I've been getting complaints from my passengers about the cold air in the passengers side footwell. I confirmed this on my 2008 by simply having someone drive me around in the car. From priapus8's description, it sounds like I have to deal with more Toyota dealer incompetence/BS/ripoff for which I have no recourse (which is basically every single experience I have had with Toyota service so far).

    FYI: There is a dealer controlable parameter named "foot air leak" listed as one of the air conditioning parameters. You may have to ask them to look under "customize parameters" in the shop manual
