Well, since Dear Hubbs and I live on the Washington Coast, at about 13 feet above sea level, I'm guessing that we'll be camping in YOUR yard :D

It's good to know that you consider the politics and hypocritical nature of some celebrities who happen to try to use their influence to inform others more important than the fact that what they are saying is important for the world. Way to stick your head in the sand!

Go around back. The front yard gets too much sun. ;)

I know what you mean though. The house I grew up in is 5 ft above sea level on a spring high tide.

Why? I recently saw it again and wasn't impressed, although the ending is still cool. But why would it convince anyone that we're in trouble. It's just an apocalyptic morality tale. Oh, there'll be food riots if the seas die. Duh. If it's really as bad as some in this thread states, then its too late. Might as well party.

The hypocrisy is important because it's a red flag that even the AGW doomsayers don't believe their own message enough to change their behaviour.

The politics are important because the enviro-apocalyptic movement has become a useful tool for haters of wealth, prosperity, productivity and the capitalist system that underlies them.

Here's the latest AlGor ICT update.

Stop it, please, for crying out loud, stop it. Stop making so much sense.

    seriously, God Bless algore

and you are right - its become a multinational industy - branching out to include AGW, anarachy, socialism, more taxation - all under one roof now - and i thought the libs were against things like that - globalization and stuff -?

and you gotta love the guys that say do as i say and not as i do - does algore:
    1. pay his taxes or not?
    2. have a gun permit?
    3. married a gay guy?
    4. had an abortion?
