Of course we all know since he is the son of the former VP of the United States, this had nothing to do with the charges. I'm sure the desk Sergeant on duty at the time of his arrest made all the decisions.

As mentioned before by other recent posts, I'm sure Al just forgot to place all his controlled substance narcotics (four different types mind you) in the proper containers. And those messy plastic baggies that your pot comes in. They are such a pain.

Happens to me all the time.

Orange County is California's Republican bastion. The chances of a deputy sheriff there giving a break to a son of a prominent democrat are slim to none, especially on a high publicity case where the actions of everyone involved will be closely scrutinized. In this state, celebrities and politicians do not get breaks on account of who they are. You are free believe whatever your heart desires. It is obvious that I am not going to change your mind. I do, however, work in the California criminal justice system and I am intimately familiar with its inner workings.

Where are the important facts of the case?

    What color is his Prius?

    Has he done any modifications?

Did they manage to get a picture of his MFD before turning off the car?

Finally, did the get the truck he was drafting, because that guy must have been going really fast.

It was originally going to be limited to 80 mph, but the time-traveling lobbyists pressured them to make it 88.

I bet Al told his son "you can buy whatever car you want, but if you want a car from me, it's only gonna be a Prius"... and then whispered to his wifey: "How much trouble can he get into?" ...
