I had been looking around for a while for alloy wheels as the 14" standard needed refurbished. Do I refurbish or find bigger ones. I always felt the 14" looks small and I also fancied a slightly wider tyre too.

I know you can get 4 stud corolla and yards wheels but I found them hard to get mainly, I think, due to a lack of them on the road. The newer cars are 5 stud.

So using the ET and PCD, I found the MX-5 by Mazda fit and I have one of those cars in at the moment. What luck!

They fit perfectly and are 15". 195 width and the Prius feels better on the road. It also looks sporty if a gen1 can look sporty.

And to finish it all off, the Toyota centre caps fit snugly in the Mazda alloys.

    Lovely jubbly.

Picture of the car with the wheels. It's now got 195/50/15 tyres.
