almost happy new owner of gen4!

    Yeah... I didnt bother with taping off with it on the wheel. 2 bolts off and caliper slipped up. This way I just needed to tape off the face that touches the brake pads and away I went. I was debating the caliper brackets but they are really shiney, obviously a different material than the actual calipers so I decided to leave them. The car only has 350 miles on it so cleaning was very minimal.

    Just in case: always either disconnect the 12 volt battery negative lead, or be very careful not to open driver's door. That'll pressurize the brakes, could pop a piston out.

    Why did you not take the 0%? It's worth way more vs 2k over 6 years. When a company gives you free money for 6 years... take it -- finance the whole amount inc tax/tags/ fees.

    Call you insurance company and make sure you have GAP. This way if the car it totaled -- you get the loan paid off -- this will be much higher vs the value.

    i intend to pay off in the next 6months. Would have cost me nearly 2k to take the 0%
