Already been debunked. Enormous numbers of dead bodies in the ocean; most of the dead killed in the attack itself, etc., etc. Of course, if you believe what you see on tv and develop your world view from it, you'll never be convinced that entertainment distorts reality for profit via sensationalism.

There's a skit that's commonly re-enacted in criminology classes: Man bursts into the room holding a banana. Points it at the professor and shouts "bang!" Prof drops to the floor, man runs out. Later the students are asked what happened, and many (if not most) report that the intruder had a gun.

Now replace a peaceful classroom with the open ocean. Your ship has just been blown up and you are in the water surrounded by dead comrades. There are sharks, and you are terrified, because you've been taught all your life to fear sharks.

You think these guys are going to be able to report more accurately on what actually happened than the students in the criminology classroom? No doubt the tv program will re-enact it showing faked scenes of sharks eating people and the viewing public will believe it because they've seen it with their own eyes.

Was that before or after he edited the title from "worsy" to "worst"? I liked it better when it was "Worsy" shark attack ever.

Daniel, I'm afraid I have to agree with Dave here. Sharks are the biggest threat facing humans. More people are killed each year by sharks than by falling pianos! Therefore, we should kill each and every shark there is. We better kill off all the fish, too, since sharks mostly eat fish, and eliminating their food helps eliminate them. We better kill off all the birds while we're at it, just to be safe.

I thought that other humans were the biggest threat to humans. Get them before they get you is my motto.

Dogs and cats are dangerous too. The CDC just reported that there are over 86,000 falls per year caused by dogs and cats. We need to get rid of them too.
