    So I'm doing the EV mod tomorrow. Instead of the 100.00 switch I'm buying a cheapie. Does it matter what amperage the switch is? I was thinking of getting a 5.00 push button switch from lowes, momentary, rated at 10a. Putting it in one of the switch knockouts on the dash...

    mA capacity is all you need,
    I used a switch out of a dead VCR mounted on a pcb placed in the glove box as I use it sparingly.
