I've read many posts on the headlight leveling sensor issues and how to rebuild it cheaply. Now that its my turn to tackle the problem (my red triangle light is coming on almost all the time now that spring has brought the rain here), I thought I would ask about another possible option that I have not found any posts on. Has anyone just removed the entire sensor and wired in a "dummy load" with a circuit and/or a resistor to totally bypass the entire assembly ? If so, what was the circuit and/or the load value ? This is one of those features that I can definitely live without and if I can just make the computer think its working I am all good with that. I have already focused headlights manually. Keith
I added a variable potentiometer and it has worked fine, however with the cheaper replacement leveling sensors, if doing it again, I would just replace the sensor. Headlight leveling sensor DIY repairs - have they held up? | PriusChat
