Another low mile prius

    I found another low mile Gen 1 prius with 111k miles with a dead battery does anyone offer new or upgraded cells to build this pack I was going to buy this car for myself and have no issues rebuilding the pack?

    For a Gen 1, I think if you want brand new, the only option is OEM at around $2,000.

    From a newish wreck: 2 packs from a Prius c, or Prius (Gen 3), 1 pack from a Camry or the packs from a HyHi.

    2k1Toaster has addressed this, and the problem is the harness, plus, by the time he adds the 5 extra modules, it is not price competitive with the OEM set. When you compare OEM Gen 1 to OEM Gen 2/3, the price per module is lower for some reason.

    Eric only obtains new Gen 1 modules from Toyota AFAIK.

    I just rebuilt one with all used gen 2 packs but if I purchase this one for myself I'm going with new cells not refurbished. If I'm going refurbished I can just build that myself.
