    Howdy y'all!

Just purchased a new 2010 Prius III with the solar roof option. I've got a 70 mile round trip commute 5 days a week and the Dodge neon was getting tired. I looked into the Leaf, but the range in a worst case scenario didn't give me confidence, and the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 just isn't the ideal commuter car :( so I took a closer look at the Prius.

Purchased a Blue Ribbon colored Prius III with the 0% financing option and while I've only driven it home and to the drugstore, I just giddy about the NAV package and bluetooth.

Looking forward to tips and advice from the forum! :)

Congrats on your new Prius and welcome to PriusChat. I had hoped to get a sunroof on mine, but the option wasn't on the car I bought.

Always drive your Prius with a HUGE smile across your face!

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride. Read that owner's manual front to back.

Congrats! You'll be loving the mpg with that much regular driving.

Even though it's brand new and all, I'd suggest getting the alignment checked. Then keep the tires above 40psi or you'll kill that first set in no time. I've had 2 new and 1 used car destroy tires with bad from the dealer alignment so I don't trust them anymore.
