    Never gone there. The cowl off, I couldn’t resist.

    (Unlike last time, when I used a makeshift plug wrapped in nitrile glove I’ve got a properly sized rubber stopper.)

    The alternative of EGR is re absorb the exhaust gas from exhaust valve combined with intake. It has been implemented long ago in older Toyota and Nissan. The other downfall is engine damage if the catalytic converter is broken like many QR25DE Nissan Altima 2002-2003 engines and get suck back to the engine.

    1st gen ls400 everyone needs an egr delete because it clogs. 2nd gen ls400 has vvti based egr. Never actually heard of one failing from egr or something related.
