another Silver #6

    I've been visiting PriusChat since I got my Prius (silver #6) May 26.
    I just registered to post that I just received my Clean Air Sticker (#HE068400) a few days ago.

    I love the prius (now that I added lumbar supports to the seats and some bass to the audio system). I doubled my gas mileage and gas is almost free since my work gives me $60/month for driving a hybrid. I got an extra .25% off my financing interest rate. AND FEEL GOOD DRIVING IT.

    So far, this site has helped me:

    1) get a $2195 refund on my Toyota Platinum Warranty and repurchase it for $990
    2) install a Kenwood powerered subwoofer
    3) install powered lumbar support
    4) remove rings off my wheels
    5) silence beeping while reversing
    6) learn what the B mode really for

    future plans:
    - fumoto oil valve (or Fram SureDrain)
    - tow hitch (I saw posting about melting bumper from Curt hitch)
    - EV switch from Coastaletech
    - buy toyota oil filters from ebay
    - K&N air filter

    other accessories/mods I have:
    - 2 layers of window tint with v-cool and standard tint
    - 3M clear bra
    - sheepskin seat covers for front seats from Costco ($40/seat)
    - all weather floor mats from Costco. not perfect fit, drivers side required cutting. color matches

    (btw, the Curt hitch thing is being resolved as we speak. They are incorporating my redesign ideas (!) and the new product will be in production soon.)
