    I don't see how Hill running a USB fan, will do anything to offset those folks running their engines in the parking lots to power their AC.

    I don't think most people understand how their driving style affects their fuel mileage.

    I have a friend who said that one day he was running out of fuel on the highway, so he drove 80 to 90 mph so he'd make it to the next fuel station before his fuel ran out.

    Fuel mileage is, to many, just an atribute of every car. Some get better fuel mileage, others get worse. They don't think about driving styles, or that cargo box on top, or things like that. For a while there, it seemed that every Prius here in Colorado had a cargo box on top and was the fastest car on the road. And there were several Prius drivers that I would talk to who complained about the poor fuel mileage.
