I was curious if the mileage was not ridiculously high...have batteries gone that long?

I have a customer with a Gen 1 Prius with about 80,000 miles on it. Original pack.

It was the original battery when I upgraded from my 2001 last spring at 238,000. I had never seen any codes about the battery, but I had noticed its occasional automatic rebalance behavior happening more often, a few times a year. The person who bought it from me drove it a couple thousand more miles, did get a battery-related code during that trip, and has since replaced it, I think.

I see milage all over the spectrum when people come to get their packs replaced. Under 100,000, over 200,000.
Pack deterioration is based on many factors. Age. Use. Non-use. Heat. Cold. Storage conditions.
