Yes, this warmer weather is helping to get those miles up. In winter, I was lucky to see anywhere near 30. Now I'm about 36-38 on good days.

By the way, this trip was about 90% highway.

That's impressive with the extra weight and A/C. (y)

It's possible that this is not much more than AC-or-not (i.e., app assumes no AC, but the car knows better). However, I can't recall seeing it change when I change the AC on/off. I gather others have seen the range projection changing with AC setting.

Almost same here: June 21: 29.6 EV miles just managed to complete trip ( 0.1 miles left ) - 75% HWY at 60-65 mph, 25% Street traffic below 50 mph ambient temp 85-95 degF A/C set to 72 degF

I have exact same observation the car showas much more accurate E/V range than Etune App, but still the real figures are lower depending on your drive.

I don't have the Entune app but I usually find the car estimates to be on the low side, unless it is raining. My achieved EV miles are mostly above the estimated miles at start of my commute. Rain drops my EV range a few miles even when the roads are just damp. Maybe some tires are better at this but I noticed this on my 2012 v also.

Don't get too excited, my EV before I went on my US 2 trip out west was 34.8 miles EV lol

Wow! you must be an hyper miler pro :)
My car is always 'assuming" I am better eco-driver that the real life proves. Anyway once one can collect once's EV range scores it is much easier to plan ICE free routes.
And...sometimes we deserve some power mode EV driving FUN when there are enough EV range miles to waste lol.

Few times I managed to make muscle car drivers to drop jaw when the could not 'shake me off' starting from the complete stop - that was fun.

I am not excited at all just sharing some real life EV range data what this car is capable of. I had same commute trips with ranges much lower if I was in rush (70-75 mph).
Nevertheless the car is pretty impressive vs. EPA ratings though

LOL "pro". No, but I try. My commute has been the same for years. The only thing that changes is the weather. And yes, the Prime, contrary to popular belief, can get out of its own way when fun is needed.;)

Hmm... Knowing the route might make significant difference, but to beat the over-optimistic car estimates? Share what driving techniques you apply. pls?
Whatever I try to follow the hypermiling techniques I can't match the car's EV range estimates in real world.

Mr. 88 if you check your EV miles at the beginning of a trip, and then turn on your AC you will see a drop in your EV estimate. Currently mine drops as much as 2.9 miles. It does seem however that at the end of the trip, and if you've been using EV only, you can actually return closer to the original estimate displayed before the AC was turned on. You do still have to drive like a crippled snail.

Well your experience seems to prove to disqualify "N" shifting for E/V range benefits. Despite my subjective impressions I did two commutes of 29-30 miles in Ev mode this week. One with DRCC and "B" mode to decelerate and then attempts of 'gliding' using acc. pedal>
the other one was the same distance/conditions and I was playing with "N" deployment to maximize benefits of reducing re-gen.
My conclusion (against of my driving efficiency perception) is like yours that the "gliding technique combined with "B" mode to decelerate an 'D' mode for cruise driving achieved almost 2 E/V miles range more that the former one = 1.9 Ev miles range left at the end of he same commute.
I am new here and been kept amazed how many variables have to come to play to maximize efficiency of the car we drive, it can be very subjective but...

Basically we are all newbies with this car. Sharing helps us all and every commute or drive is different, so a lot of different strategies. My commute strategy is different than my long trip strategy but maximizing HV battery usage is the key for long trips or HV only trips like my PM commute. Like today 79.3 mpg for 35 mile HV only trip. :)

1.5 weeks after having my PPA. My EV range increased from 22 to 25.6 (from the dashboard). On the Entune app, however, it shows 30mi.

6/21/17 My non-hypermiling wife did 35 mile in full EV with 6 estimated miles left in 90- 100F ambient temp with AC on. About 20 miles of it on Hwy at about 60 mph. This car is amazing!
