Own any other hybrids other than a Prius? Throughout this forum we know of the reliability of the Prius, how brakes last well beyond 100,000 miles, etc. How does the Prius compare to other hybrids? Do other hybrids also have the same reliability and long lasting brakes ? How does it compare to multiple hybrid household cars? In particular, how does the Lexus CT200h compare since Lexus is a Toyota line?
CT pretty cramped, notice the very wide center console if you sit in it. Toyota's are very reliable and practical. I don't like their interior designs, driving / steering wheel positions, hard plastics in Prius, blah, blah and their driving dynamics and labeled 'secure but not agile' (i.e. fun to drive) by Consumer Reports, Car and Driver, etc.... Ford's are more fun to drive, less practical (i.e. small Ford Fusion trunk, smaller back seat room) Honda is new in full hybrids. Accord Hybrid out only 1 month and real world mileage not well known. Kia / Hyundai Sonata hybrids get around 35 MPG combined.
