I bought blue because I've always wanted this color blue. I am glad I chose it because it's different in every lighting condition. Sunlight it's wildly metallic, dusk it's dark blue, night it's black with blue flecks. Really can't get tired of this color.

Brett, i think i'm going to go with the blue for the same reasons.
What's your interior color? I'm leaning towards dark gray but am entertaining Bisque as well.

Are you dealing with the Colonial Drive store which is moving to I-4 or the store on the south side? I spoke with the guys at the Colonial Drive store in February and they told me they would order a Prius with whatever I wanted on it and below MSRP. I later found a dealer up here to order from with the same pricing so no reason to fly to Orlando to buy my car :p

    BTW, good color choice :)

When my wife and I started looking for a Prius, we agreed that black was our choice bc we wanted to tint the windows and liked the clean black on black look. But upon browsing them at the dealer, we figured the black would really show imperfections and that the winter grey metallic would be as close to black as possible while better hiding any imperfections. Then when I finally brought our winter grey metallic home, the wife told me I should've gotten the blizzard pearl......go figure.

I'm happy with what I chose, but I get tired of my wife telling me how much she "loves" the white...smh.

Make it an Elantra Limited in Pearl White :D

Are you going to get any of the Plus Performance parts for your car? That color looks absolutely amazing with the wheels & body kit ;) I ordered a Blizzard Pearl 'cause I had my eye's set on that color since I seen it in 2010. Otherwise it would have been Winter Grey.

Hmm I never thought of that. How much do they run for? I'm afraid if I do that I'm going to turn what was supposed to be a practical choice car for my wife and I into an expensive tuner project.
Btw, the new Elantras are actually nice cars if you haven't seen one up close in person ;-)

I have about 5k miles behind the wheel of a 2011 Elantra GLS. It got damn close to 50 mpg on that trip too :) If it was a Hybrid, I'd own a Limited.

    Prius Plus Package MSRP prices:
    $3699 Complete Kit
    $325 Rear Swaybar Alone
    $399 Springs Alone >1" drop F & R
    $999 Body Kit Alone
    ??? 17" Wheels & Tires

I believe the wheels & tires are about $2400 but not positive.

    Invoice prices:
    $2969 Complete Kit
No other invoice prices listed for the other parts :(

If you can handle the costs, my vote is buy the Plus package parts. Your gonna have one hell of a nice ride then :p

I have the darkest of the 3 colors, it's dark gray or something but I chose this because my previous car had a light whitish / tan interior and the seats were constantly getting stained (cloth.)

A tan interior is ok with leather, much easier to wipe up and very classy with pearl white paint.

Ugh, I guess I'll have to pass :(. I'm going to use that money for a roof rack and the mpg hit that I'll get with the rack/cargo on there ...or maybe even a tow hitch/hitch cargo box to reduce drag.
Practicality over image is what I'm looking for right now.

I ended up with silver. Had a silver van and then a blue Murano. Murano was IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean. I don't think I actually EVER washed the van! I almost got Sea Glass Pearl but the dealer suggested I wouldn't like it and, based upon what I'd seen/read I wasn't sure so I went with the old stand by. Love it but the Sea Glass Pearl looks really nice from what I've seen in this thread too.

Phew! That's nice to hear. I was half expecting there to be a lot of posts for regrets on the Barcelona Red.

Kind of interesting to see more posts on likes rather than regrets --- I guess it speaks to the intelligence of the PC crowd in researching and chosing their vehicles. :D

I really liked the look of our royal blue Prius when we bought it in February and still do, although I should have anticipated that it would radiate summer heat as much as black.

I got BP because it was the ugly duckling that was left of the 11s. Actually I could have had the winter grey but that was boring :( I like the color a lot but wish the interior was the dark grey instead of bisque. Some color blind engineers put this car together.
My first choice would have been the blue- it's beautiful or the red.
