On my daughter's 2011, and her friend's 2010, Toyota replaced the master cylinder for free. Over 150,000 miles (240,000 km)

    Symptoms:
    Odd braking
    No regen braking
    Tons of warning lights
The hydraulic pump (actuator?) that lightly bzz/hmm as you approach the car --it pressurizes the brake assist --It should only run once in awhile. If your'e leaking fluid (but not losing it on the reservoir) it has to run every 5-10 seconds.

At first they said it would cost about $2000. Later they called back and said they found a notification & it was free.
