Any way to figure out what models have a certain radio?

    So, I had a radio shade produced, it fits the 57011 radio. I'm trying to figure out which models come with this radio, as most radios are flat, and this one has a bit of a curve, so the shade only fits this specific radio.

    any help is appreciated

    Have you tried looking up that radio on parts.toyota.com, then expanding What This Fits?

    2012-14 Prius v trim 3 and some trim 5s that did not have the upgraded jbl system. Probably fits the 57010 unit used in trim 2.

    $14.99? How does it stay attached?

    Your profile states that you have a Model l Prius v. This model does not exist. Only models two, three and five were made in 2013.

    The base model two has the basic radio without navigation. Models three and five have the upgraded radio.

    Great suggestion, I'm going to do that right after writing this reply. (edit: found it- it only goes in the v, 2012-2014. Hard to tell if other radios have the exact same exterior, but with different features. The technical drawings don't really show curvature of the radio)


    It uses double sided mounting tape. I've recently upgraded the tape- the old stuff wasn't quite good enough.

    Maybe you could expand the search to see what other radios can go in those same years of v, as they probably have to match the same surrounding trim and therefore have the same curvature, and expand the What This Fits for those. Maybe also look at What This Fits for the trim panel that goes around it.

    Turns out it's a very narrow range of vehicles- basically 2012-2014 V. Also, hooo dog, the navigation system is $4k on their site. as bad as the actual navigation system is, they'd have to pay me to use it.
    The radio's fine, just not... $4k fine. ha.

    Anywhoo, the radio shade is live on amazon now. I have about a hundred of these, and given the narrow range of cars that this officially fits, that should be more than enough.
