i haven't tried it yet, but i hear great things about it. really novel approach to a simple but daunting engineering task. i was thinking about it, but decided i wouldn't be able to take advantage of the possibilities.

Why would you not be able to take advantage of it possibilities.
    You live in California.

Unlikely beneficial for modern day fuel injection cars as the air flow and fuel mixture into the intake runners of the engine are unaffected by this device.

Our prius has adkinson cycle engine which causes some of the intake air fuel mixture to be pushed back into intake manifold as therefore (as a secondary effect) creates more effective turbulence and mixture of fuel and air.

If you had a carbureted engine It may have some beneficial attributes in proper mixing fuel and air,

sorry, did i say something inappropriate?(n)

fuel molecule misalignment is a huge automotive industry problem that often goes undetected.

funny thing to find on etrailer.com.o_O

Without objective testing and certification that it works, it reminds me of that magnet thing you clamp onto your fuel line to "properly align the fuel molecules" for 10% better MPG.

It should, it's the same concept after all. For the most spectacular improvement you can use both.

If you do, though, you have to be especially careful they are both oriented the same way. If you have either one of them backwards, the magnet will align the fuel molecules the wrong way to go through the booster, and the car won't run at all.

No it was a political humor about that thing being illegal in California.

    ah, thank you.:)

i think your right about that. i have yet to see anyone come up with a proven mpg boost for the prius except tyres and etc. i wonder if what i've been hearing is just hype?

I think the old style use on carb and older inject work under the assumption it would cause the air to flow threw the Throttle body like liquid out of a bottle if you swear the bottle (cyclone effect) .
I just saw it and figure I'd ask.

This car make alot of stuff I know and have done to cars to make them fast and burn less fuel backwards.
1 this motor is more efficient with hot air being fed to it.
2 the factory exhaust work better then the freer flowing after market.

This car will take a lot of rethinking.

A what? Like a Fish carb, I don't see how it can work on a Prius. Turbulence would help but I don't see it doing anything for any Prius.
If you want more mileage, go electric. You would need a different spacer, much thicker to do any good.
