    What's funny is they speak to me slowly as if I have some sort of learning disability, although that's debatable.

    Here is a video demonstrating how in Russia Gen 3 Prius get stolen in few minutes. Sorry Its in Russian but video self explanatory
    They reported it to Toyota but nothing changed.
    You can find videos of most car security systems defeated in a few minutes.
