Hiya, got home today with my new car and didn't test the spare keyfob until after I got home and gave it to my wife, it looks like it had not been programmed yet. I only have a short time to head by there tomorrow so was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes in general for them to program the keyfob to the car.

    Thanks for any info!

It takes about 15 minutes, but it will take a half hour for them to write it up.

The car is programmed to accept the fob. The fob is not programmed.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification and for the time estimate. Drove all the way over there today ( Rice Toyota in Greensboro, NC ) and was informed by the service guy that there would be a longish wait before they could get to me, even though they were expecting me and I explained that the key should have been programmed yesterday before I ever picked the car up and that each trip I make to them is an hour+ drive. Ummm, yeah...
