    Wildkow,
I just joined yesterday morning and was doing OK until I screwed it up last night. I PM'd you but you must not have been online, so I went to the FAH forum. They tried to help but I guess I didn't express myself clearly enough. In any event I downloaded the Console again and got it running, They assigned me a HUGE file (I think). It isnow going OK. So hopefully I will show up on the team. I have the same username(otherwise I can't remember them all).
    Neicy
PS. Your instructions for getting it going were great!

    Neicy,

You will need at least 1 WU (working unit) to show up on the stat. If you can list out your computer spec, there is a lot of people can help you optimized the setting.

To check whether you have a complex file, check your project no. vs this website. If the project earn more credit, that's mean it's a more complex file (lot more calculation).

Sorry, Neicy woke up at 2:30 in the morning with slight chest pain accompanied by radiating pain from my shoulder down to my arm, I have also been experiencing shortness of breath lately. My wife, a Family Nurse Practitioner, was asleep so I decided not to wake her. Besides that's why the Doc's get paid the big bucks, right docs? So I got up and called the Doc and he said git to the ER. The docs think everything is OK but those were the same symptoms from the last MI I had when they put in a stint. I went to the ER by myself. Now I got to figure out how to appease the wrath of a scorned woman. :p

Gosh, Kow, I'm really sorry to hear about your bad health. It must have been pretty scary. I'd say, if it happens again, wake up your wife! If you were to go unconscious, and she was still asleep it would be a lot more serious than if you had awakened her and she could call for an ambulance.

    OMG Wildkow,

Are you crazy? You DON"T let anyone sleep thru that. I'm a nurse, and if I EVER hear that you drive yourself again I will have to go right through my modem to scold you. (But actually my DH did the same thing when he had chest pain and I scolded him too - is it a man thing?)

Seriously, you already had a stent? They gonna work you up again? They should to see what's going on.

BTW I got a large WU that has a pref completion date of 30 days!? It's about 60% done and should be a good contribution to the team when it completes (looks like it will take about 5 days - maybe 6).

Meanwhile, just take it easy for a while, and don't ignore stuff the your gut tells you isn't right.

    Take care, Neicy

    Hey Kow,

take care of yourself. I hope you don't have anymore of those scary nights. Definitely wake up your wife. My mom is a nurse and I know they would want to be involved if you are having health problems.

    Hope everything checks out ok.

Thanks everyone, yes she did give it too me and now that she has told our friends, both cops that live less than a block away, they are also giving it to me. Whoever said "tis better to give than receive" obviously had a life experience of a similar nature. I can't imagine what I would be receiving if I got everyone up and off to the ER just to find nothing wrong. BTW the ER is about 5 minutes away. Anyway Wednesday I go in for further testing.

p.s. BTW Daniel your folding machine is awesome! I gotta get me a Mac with a couple quad core intel cpu's! :D

Dang! Molang/chinalfr2 is gonna be uncatchable if he keeps this rate up. :D <_< :p

Chinafr2 I think I got my C2D stable at 3Ghz but at full load the temp for Core #1 is at 60C and the Core #2 temp is at 58C most of the time when the ambient temps are 75-80F in the room. The CPU Die Temp is usually at about the mid 40's C. Memory timings 4-3-3-12-2T other specs below.

Well I could only count my #1 status in hours, not days.

Besides, you rank #1 in cheerleading.

And as for your driving yourself to the hospital stunt... I would have done the same thing, so hopefully if I'm ever in that situation I will think back to your story about everyone giving you a hard time and wake my wife up.

I hope your tests were ok.

fast, slow, it dont matter... that is the beauty of distributed computing... ANYONE'S contribution is helpful.

i have a win 98 computer that has finished i think 3 WU (about one every 10 days) its slow, but it contributes and has apps i cannot move to a faster machine without paying for upgrades so i will run it until it dies

Grrrrrr, I have now lost about 8-10 WU's due to the 07B error. The main culprit it seems is changing network settings and OverClocking, sigh. . . :( Doing further research anyone getting this error?

I'm not very familiar with that error but if it raises your frustration level by a factor of at least 7X then yes!
