anyone pay 25K or less for an '07 package 5 or 6 ??

    I am picking up my new 07 Touring Magnetic gray option package 6:

    Price before taxes, title/registration: $25, 600.

    Given that the dealers have a $461 dealer cash back, I figure they stand to make $512. This price seems to be $2265 below MSRP.

    After having gotten several quotes (e.g. $26,395, $27,300.00) I am comfortable that I have a good price and am looking forward to picking up my Prius tonight (hoping that there are no last minute deal breakers).

    I hope that you find a deal that you are comfortable with soon. I simply try to avoid being ripped off as I accept that somebody somewhere will be able to negotiate a better deal me.

    BTW: I am in the greater Chicago area.

    MSRP = $23,569

    Internet Price = Only $21,470

    NL Package # 5
    MSRP = $26,274
    After the attached coupon
    Internet Price = Only $23,904

    NW Package # 6
    MSRP = $27,544
    After the attached coupon
    Internet Price = Only $25,047

    They can be BS charges if the dealer takes advantage of them. We paid $55 for doc fee and $10 for tire fee. We got a 2007, package 5 for $25901 out the door.

    $25,200 for base with package #5 plus tax and tags in Central Pennsylvania, purchased last week with delivery in 30+ days.
