I have a 1996 ram cummins diesel pick-up and every time I change the oil I hit all the zerks with the grease gun.

I also own two priuses, (priusses? priaaia?...whatever) an 07 and a 2010. Any grease points on this vehicle?

As long as were talking about it, what do y'all use to grease the door hinges, etc. White lithium seems kind of messy for these vehicles.

    Any other stuff to lube?

I've used garage door roller lube on the door hinges. It goes on liquid and then kinda gels. Put it on very sparingly, just kinda bleed it in right at the joint, with a straw extension on spray can. Did it when car was new, and again just now, four years later.

There's no grease nipples. But what you might do is coat every bolt and screw you can get at on the underside, even the ones just holding plastic trim. And all the main suspension pieces. With some sort of wax/oil protectorant.

With all the minor trim holding fasteners, back them out and saturate.

Some think it is important to clean and lube the disk brake slide pins every 30,000 to 50,000 miles, especially if you live in cold country where they use salt and sand on the roads during the winter.

they sell it at the garage door store, must be something special. you don't want to attract debris.

This is the stuff. A guy replaced our garage door opener, used it on the rollers, hinges and the chain drive, and left me the can. It seems similar to bike chain lube. He suggested to relube the rollers periodically.

I see it contains methylene chloride, which can cause cancer, but only in California. :ROFLMAO:

Hmm, trying to think: are the hinges inside or outside of the door seal gasket? I think outside.

well, methylene chloride is also used as paint stripper. i wouldn't use it on anything painted.

For hinges on my aircraft's ailerons and flap guides, I used a curious spray-by-tube lube called LPS2, which comes out of the tube as a kind of foam which then evaporates and leaves a clinging film of oily lube. This application can be done even upside down as the clinginess is very good. So I will use that on the door hinges.

I manage to grease the driver of my Prius, plural Prii, with copious amounts of beer and steak several times per month.
    It seems to help!

I've had a gallon of the thicker LPS3 and have success with it for nearly 30 years.

Boeshield T9 is good for lighter weight applications. I've got a gallon of that, too.
