    He was a visionary and had completely changed the way people used to use gadget. He was an amazing personality and one of faces of the era. Hats off to Steve Jobs; May his soul rest in peace.

    First of all, Steve Jobs was a Buddhist, so he probably doesn't want to "RIP".

    He was a great innovator. Also, superb talent at marketing. Millions of people bought stuff because his inventions are ... something new and cool.

    He was the 42nd (or 43rd) richest person in America. Unless he gave away money anonymously, he was not known for his charity work. At all.

    Imagine people who truly has changed the lives of people in ways greater than innovating a gadget which is a cooler way of reading a book. You know, like people who developed hybrid vehicles, people who invented drugs for deadly diseases, people who develop ways to find water in deserts....

    Ralph M. Steinman's lifetime work actually saves lives. He died within days of Mr. Jobs. I wish people say "RIP Dr. Steinman". It is sad that most people don't even know who he was.

    Great businessman. Never a great innovator. A great implementer (which is hard). KISS, emphasis on design, vertical integration, agressively defend IP and image.

    Here's another of many interviews w/Walter Isaacson.

    Over here on my local PBS stations, they're broadcasting a show called Revolutionaries and they aired the above interview. I'm in the middle of watching it right now.
