It's a 1NZ engine there's Toyota engines go it's a pretty good engine open deck etc etc it's done well in the Yaris so I don't expect many surprises there where the surprises always pop up is in the electricals and in the Prius there's plenty of those high and low voltages so lots of computers lots of things to get crossed up and go haywire lot of electronics that are outside and many Priuses being the terrariums that they are it can only be somewhat fun

Even with all the problems listed these things are creeping up at 200 300,000 mi by then Toyota is long out of it You're riding on the coattails of the cars quality purely and the Corolla /Prius is just one of the better built cars ever out there.period And even with all their quirks little and big batteries and what have you still they are one of the lowest maintenance cars on the planet so when they start messing up and they seem to be driving just fine don't panic just enjoy your ride and watch the lights like a light show for beginners nothing really happening I've got lights on all the time does it mean anything means electronics or putting light bulbs on wonderful
