It's hot and slippery. Not as hot and slippery as leather though. Softex actually reflects infrared whereas leather absorbs it.

Cloth is better because it's not slippery at all and because it doesn't conduct heat to your skin nearly as well as either Softex or leather.

It would be if we had them. I'd love to buy a Prime Advanced with the cloth seats from the Prime Plus. But I can't.

Absolutely. My Ram has heated and vented seats. The venting in summer is amazing. I don't know how I lived without it before.

Actually I do... sweaty, smelly, clothes sticking to you...

No, just the cup holder. there's one for the shift lever too. None for the steering wheel.

I wonder what a nice burlwood would look like for these.

I may purchase them but I don't want to be part of a trend that tells Toyota to make something really ugly on purpose so people will pay extra to hide it. Maybe wethertech or somebody will make an aftermarket product?

Younger. A co-worker says that, and I ask, "younger? you mean 45-55?" Similarly we look back at the 'old person' we encountered and realize, "wow, I'm now 30 years older than that old person"
    :D
But yea, younger buyers ... but sill having enough money to buy more than that 12yr old Mitsubishi with the big spoiler mounted on the trunk lid.

I sort of considered this over the Prius. The cargo and utility was just so much better than the Prius that it almost made sense to dump my truck and our car and buy one, but my wife gave me a dirty look when I suggested getting a minivan when we have no kids :D.

Show her this minivan............she might think different.

I was behind one the other day and was wondering what that new car was. It was a freakin minivan, the pacifica.

FYI the new Honday 2018 Odyssey looks to be a challenger...but still no hybrid/plugin from other manufacturers!

I stuck with the base radio when I got the Sonic. Bluetooth was standard. So that was all I needed, but then I got a smart phone.
I was thinking more along the lines of when all these people that never lived in a world without any cell phones at all start looking to buy a car. Sticking to their own system while everyone else is offering the Android and/or Apple options, means used Toyotas will be less appealing to the even younger people.
That could be said about the leather in our 2001 Sable.

The newer fake leathers are better than the previous generations.

I did, yes. Burnsville Toyota has one. I had called a couple of dealers that are closer to me, and all told me that "no dealers have them". Fortunately John (in this forum) let me know that he had driven one in Burnsville, so I also drove down there. It's the mid-priced model, titanium colored, and not for sale. (And they quoted me "6-8 months" to take delivery on one I order.)

Anyone leasing their prime ? Going to test drive this week. I'm on the fence with the prius 2017 3 or the prime.

i have to say the prime looks much better than the stock prius.

So, I just got my Prime after over a year of waiting. Yes, a year (back when it was still considered a concept car). And I have likes and dislikes. I just traded my 2010 prius for it. Looks compared to that are awesome, it looks sporty and unless you're in our world, people don't realize it's a prius. I have the blue magnetism color and I love it. I have all black leather inside which gives it that touch of elegance. I don't like the sound system compared to the JBL I had before (and I have the advanced package). So that may need adjusted. My rear window I still have yet to figure out how to defrost. And there's no accessories such as car seat covers to purchase yet! But all and all I still love it and got one heck of a deal. They are not currently available in Pennsylvania so after filling out paperwork with my dealer last month they promised I would have it before Christmas. Not realizing they still wouldn't be available. They ended up trading a 60,000 forerunner for my car from a Maryland dealer to get it to me. Plus I negotiated for 1000 off and they gave me way more for my trade in then they should have. They really lost but more for me!
