Two guys were sitting in a bar in Vancouver, a big guy was cheering for the Blades. The little sized guy from Vancouver says, "All they have in Saskatoon are hocky players and hookers." Big guy stand up to is full 1.9 meters and says "My wife is from Saskatoon, eh.

Little sized guy asks "Which team does she play for?"

    Video of Jack Lambert.

In a 1976 interview when asked about all the quarterback going down with injuries and how to protect them, he sarcastically told Monday Night Football: "Maybe they should wear a dress"

There's always the Lingerie Football League. Despite the (lack of?) uniforms, I can't image it being as popular as other leagues. Sex sells, so they say, but violence sells more.

Well, if most wives think violence is better than sex, it's worse than I thought.

Here's the start of an interesting series about 'Drawing the Line' on violence in sports. The sidebar has videos, too, if you're interested.

most of the incentive to reducing violence is monetary. players wanting to extend their careers and leagues not wanting the best players seriously injured. fans pretty much like the violence.
