    Hello,

I have been having the Auxiliary Battery Low warning for 2 consecutive days now. I'm tempted to send it to the dealership since I'm due for service anyway. Out of curiosity, can I get the battery tested at any Autozone or Oreilly? Does Prius have specific battery type?

    Thanks.

    Yes.
And yes......but only "specific" because of the size and type of posts.
Any "exact replacement" should be fine.
Ask the dealer what they will charge and then shop around........if you are qualified to replace it yourself.
If not, let the dealer do it.

People come here saying they drive around weeks with low oil pressure light and then became concerned about their engine. Good thing your is only aux bat. If money is disposable for you, let the dealership do it at your convenience. If every penny earned is every penny saved, go buy it at the store if you have a set of rachets or wrenches. You can go online and filter it by model make
