I rode my Specialized Sequoia to the store recently (don't think they make it anymore, it's more of a touring road bike). Not great for suburban trip with some bumpy paved trails through a park. Long way to fall off that bike too. All terrain bike would be better (like Specialized Expedition).

I have studded tires on my old mountain bike but if it's much below 0F, then it doesn't get much use. But I do get in a lot of walking this time of the year. About 150 miles per month.

I can't yet. It's taking forever to use up the first tank of gas!

Coincidently, that will probably happen this weekend when I take a LONG trip to go BIKING.

I have seen people riding bikes with traffic here, I am just too 'chicken' to do it. :(

If it's winter time and the Prius has been sitting for more than a couple of hours I'll take the Saturn instead. Any time it's warm out (most of the time) I still take the Prius on short trips.
