back illuminated emblem

    Why? Is there anything metallic in such a neon wire ?

    I have a V w/ATP as well. Don't know if you have looked at the front emblems on our cars, but the ones with radar cruise control have a smooth emblem in front as opposed to a raised emblem like yours. It is sealed behind clear plastic and smooth to not disrupt the radar signal and give a false signal. I'm mostly bummed because I want to switch my emblems on the car to black chrome. Will work out something. Will definitely illuminate the rear very soon though.
