    webpage does'nt mention dyna anywhere???!!!!!
    quote from webpage
"Welcome to balancing beads. The weights are actually perfectly round beads that give you a custom balance every time you pull away from the curb. There are a couple ways you can balance your car's tires with beads. The commercial way is to buy balancing beads in a kit. Of course this is "Tools-On-The-Cheap" so I have a cheaper alternative: high density air-soft BBs!! The reason I use these BBs is simple; they're perfectly round, will not corrode (and go out of round which cause them not to be able to roll) and of course, they're cheap. If you buy one of these bottles of beads, you can balance 2 sets of tires (8 tires) for under $15. "

not sure what your problem....it clearly states ... high density air-soft BBs!!

can't really do more for you....all i know is what i read on that webpage

I am going to install beads this weekend, however when I read your post, you put 120 grams=4.232 ounces is it too much? does it suppose to be 3.5 ounce is the max? please let me know or should I put in 4.232 like you.

I used a set of balancing rings that were filled with beads back in the 70's on a 1976 Nova. They worked. The reason I stopped using them and I think why they are not used today is that they cannot compensate beyond a small amount of imbalance and dynamic wheel/tire balancers are much better today than years ago when wheels and tires were "static balanced". In other words, most tires/wheels still need to be balanced with lead weights because more weight is needed than contained in the beads and once a good quality tire/wheel is properly balanced it will usually stay balanced. The beads will compensate for minor imbalance. Below is a picture of a balance ring that is partially filled with beads.

Dynamic balancing also balances in two planes instead of one like the rings and static balancing do.

I use Ride-On for my motorcycle tires and l like it more because it will seal tire punctures as well. Beads won't.

    enjoy your slime
the balancing bead guru of all wisdom wrote once

    " Ever removed a Slimed tire??. . . Yuck!!"

but hee !enjoy your slime...choices are available! this is a !"pay for weights free zone "

i used slime once or twice in the past myself and its good.....but bbs are cheaper

only putting weights on will upset this tread

    any other ideas out there?

Only speaking about my motorcycle tires, it hasn't been a problem removing them and putting new ones on. The Ride-On system is water soluble, so even if you do make a mess, which I haven't experienced yet, it's relatively easy to clean up.

I don't know about car tires, as I haven't used Ride-On for mine yet.

Also, I know a lot of truck drivers who use Ride-On in their truck tires, as a balancer and as a plug for punctures, and most swear by it.
