There is a web site something like "Baby's got a bad, bad name" and it is hysterical! I laughed so hard I cried. Many, many clueless people breeding

Kind of off subject, but I once worked with a woman named Judy who married a guy with the last name of Doody. So she was Judy Doody.

Be patient – time will come that everybody will be named using a government provided ID number with a “Bâ€, “G†or “X†suffix to designate Boys, Girls or Undecided. :p

Finding a baby name gets interesting when your last name is Wood.
We couldn't use a huge number of names right off the bat.
    Harry (Harold)
    Peter
    Dick (Richard)
    Anita
    Ivanna
    Holly
    Willy (William)
    Wanda

Growing up, I was the younger son, so I was little woody, my brother was big woody, and may dad was pappa woody!

I used to work with a guy named Rich Wood. Great guy and took the obvious name bashing quite well.

Needless to say, I'm not sure I can remember the last time I actually called him 'Rich'...

I took a lot of name crap back in the day, no biggie. Dished it out too.
Had a friend with the last name of Dover. We all called him Ben.
Had another friend named Rich McCracken.

Togethor, they were Ben Dover and Phil McCracken.

    How did she survive?

How did you speak with her and keep a straight face?

    So funny!

"Janiece?" That was my mother's name! I didn't know thery were still naming babies that, but I always thought it was a pretty name. Lewis is okay too!

A woman from my book club whose last name is Lee just had a baby this week. Named her "Harper"! Her mom wants her to be a writer.

I went to high school with a gal who was engaged to a dude with the last name of June. They already had plans to name their first daughter April May.

Thank God the engagement didn't turn into a marriage after all.

I am half Japanese so we gave my son a Japanese name since the wife wanted something unique (although it is common in Japan) - Takeshi. I did not realize how many people would have trouble saying his name. Not too many out in Kansas when we were there. Our day care provided just shortened his name to TK which seem to have stuck.
