Barcelona Prius Taxis

For me, I am averaging a $20 per day saving on fuel versus the LPG Falcon that I drove before I got my Prius. As stated in other threads, Sydney taxis are predominately Ford Falcons running on LPG (because it is cheaper to run LPG than petrol). Current price for petrol is approx $1.50 per litre here in Sydney.

I am still running the only Prius in my network, but there are a number of Camry hybrids being added to the network, and all the drivers who have driven these are very happy with the savings on the fuel. At present, the fleet owners are not charging any difference between the Camry and the Falcon, so all the fuel savings are going into the drivers' pockets.
