Battery Computer

    When I attempt to start there is clicking from Battery Control module.

    I have replaced 4 cells and the battery control module

    any idea idea what's going on or how to fix?

    thanks in advance and help would be appreciated

    The relays make clicking sounds on start up, which are normal... If possible compare your Prius start up sounds to another Prius that you know is healthy.

    Do you have any warning lights/error codes?

    Your battery is still jacked up. You replaced cells and don’t have Techstream or any capable obd reader? Thats a classic whack a mole there. Rebuilding the battery and No obd code reader is pretty silly as you can clearly see now.

    Measure the dc voltage across the battery side of the relay with safety plug in and see what the pack is putting out. Should be at least 215

    Did the battery ecu plugs and sockets look clean and did you take the ecu circuit board out of the metal can and check it?

    It is probably worth going over the obvious. When you reinstated the HV battery safety interlock, did you do all three steps (as shown below) – i. e. in step 3 sliding the handle all the way down until it clicks?
