I got a code p3007 on my 2002 Prius, and have been reading that the hybrid battery cooling fan may need to be cleaned or possibly replaced. I have not found any info on where this is located, how to test it, or how to clean it. I am also wondering if you ever hear this fan running? In the 15 years I have had the car, I am unaware of any "fan sound" coming from the battery. The hybrid battery was replaced around 65,000 miles, and I now have 120,000.
Thanks for any help and insight!

Its on the driver hand side of the trunk. You will have to pull back the trunk liner to get to it. There is black plastic ducting that it connects to between the fresh air intake and the battery It is pretty easy to get to and remove.
